When it comes to choosing the correct size for a window shade, it's essential to measure your window accurately. For example, if your window measures 23 inches in width and 72 inches in length, the following guidelines apply:

INSIDE MOUNT: For an inside mount, the blind width should match the window width, and the blind height should match the window height. Therefore, the Blind Width would be 23 inches, and the Blind Height would be 72 inches.

OUTSIDE MOUNT: For an outside mount, you'll need to add at least 4 inches to both the width and height of the blind. This means the Blind Width would be 23 inches plus 4 inches, equaling 27 inches, and the Blind Height would be 72 inches plus 4 inches, equaling 76 inches.

Please note that the fabric width will be 0.8 inches shorter than the size of the shade. If the height of your window differs significantly from the existing blind height, it's recommended to choose a custom size.
