Our story began with Mr. Saraya, who founded Happy Elephant based on an injured elephant stuck in a man-made trap. Discovering that palm oil led to the deforestation of Borneo's biodiverse lands, we partnered with the Borneo Conservation Trust to help protect migratory routes for animals and promote sustainable palm oil plantations.
