How to Choose the Correct Size? For an inside mount, the window width and height are the same as the shade width and height. For an outside mount, add 4 inches to both the width and height. Example: If your window measures 23” wide by 72” tall, an inside mount requires a 23” wide and 72” tall shade. An outside mount requires a 27” wide and 76” tall shade.
