Custom Orders

We offer custom-made window shades to ensure a perfect fit for your window. When placing your order, please provide the exact width and height of your window. For a more accurate fit, we recommend leaving more precise measurements. If you are unsure, ordering a test shade is advisable. For assistance with sizing, our customer service team is here to help.

Inside Mount Installation

An inside mount requires at least a 2-inch frame depth. The shade width should be approximately 0.25 inches less than your window’s inside width, while the height should match your window’s inside height. For example, if your window measures 35.5 inches wide by 40 inches high, select a window size of 35 inches wide, with a width fraction of 1/2, and 42 inches in height. We will adjust the shade size accordingly.

Outside Mount Installation

For better coverage, outside mount requires a shade width that is 3 to 6 inches larger than your window’s outside width, and a height that is 5 to 10 inches larger. If your window measures 35.5 inches wide by 40 inches high, your shade should be at least 39 inches wide by 45 inches in height. Ordered sizes will be final, with no adjustments made.

Key Considerations

The shade width includes all brackets, which occupy an additional 0.6 inches on each side, resulting in a fabric width about 1.2 inches smaller than measured.
